After a VERY long hunt (and many, many months of deciding whether or not to stay in NY)...we found it! Our very first house! What a tiring process it was, but in the end a great reward! This morning was a little rough waiting for our closing to take place (oh the nerves!!), but we did it! This cute little cape cod house sits on a great corner lot in the Town of Camillus, which was just the area we were looking for! It's a perfect size for a "starter" home and there are great schools, shopping and parks very close by - not to mention only a few minutes to work every day! It needs some TLC and we're definitely ready to tackle some projects. After all, living in an apartment for three years can get rather boring with white wash walls and people that come in and do all of your maintenance for you! We're very blessed to have help from our friends and family to move boxes, clean and paint...all of the things that go along with moving (so I hear - this is our first BIG move!). Here's to many wonderful memories as we go forth on this new journey in our lives! We hope to be able to have everyone over soon for a housewarming party...(and maybe some painting)!
